A pair of noctules (bats) September 2006
A lone Jay, just on Millie perimeter, 28.10.06
A huge group of noctules - at least 100(!) flying way over top of Millie and out to A4 area. 31.10.06 (17.10)
We also saw large numbers of Redwings on migration passing over the Millie also at the end of October (v.early morning)
A pheasant (male) in the reed beds on Sat morning 10.03.07
3 Great Spotted woodpeckers in the trees towards the Thames Water end of the reserve 10.03.07
The first cuckoo was heard calling in the Millie this morning at about 8.30am (25.03.07) - Appropriate for the first day of spring!
